Kochani, jeśli chcemy powiedzieć, że coś się gdzieś znajduje używamy konstrukcji there is (liczba pojedyncza)/ there are (liczba mnoga)

Na przykład, gdy chcemy powiedzieć: Na stole jest książka, musimy zacząć od there is (ponieważ jedna książka), następnie określić CO? się znajduje (książka) i dopiero na końcu GDZIE? (na stole). Czyli ostatecznie nie może wyjść nic innego jak tylko:

There is a book on a table.

Jeśli chcemy zaprzeczyć do is lub are dodajemy not i wychodzi isn't, aren't

A book isn't on a table...

Pytania tworzymy poprzez inwersję (tzw. ASEREJE) czyli zamianę is/are z there
